It is important to know our family's history

Everyone has a family. It is a definite fact. Even animals have a family. We know that we have a family but do you know your family’s history? Do you know things like who is my ancestor? Most of them doesn’t know. They don’t know because they don’t know the benefits of knowing our family’s history. Here are three reasons why.

  First, I can feel self confidence. For instance, if my ancestor is a really famous person like king Sejong , then I can tell my friends that I am a descendent of his with confident. Anyway, who can’t?

Think of this. If you are really really angry right now, how would you push the stress out of your brain? If it was me, I would think of my ancestor and think I am the higher level than you and just release my stress. Also, if someone asks about your ancestor, I would say it out loud, because I have a confident about it anyway, I know about it. Even though, your ancestor is not a famous person, it is okay.. it is a proud thing for you because not all people doesn’t know their ancestor.

Second, there is a saying that you learn from your mistakes. It is true. You can learn your family’s history and make it as a steppingstone for your final dream. Everyone has mistakes. Even your ancestors and you make or made mistakes. But if you know it and make it a foothold, then, you can say that mistake breeds success. Sure you can say it and you deserve it because you learned what was wrong about you and the mistakes of ancestors and made it follow to the final stage.

Third, let us think. Why do we always have to think that our family’s history is ancestor or something. It could be some history of disease. If your family was bald and the grandparents and the great grandparents are bald, then you are going to be bald too. But the good things are that you can expect these things and research about how to avoid it or make the hair come back. You don’t need to get shocked or think this is a really big and serious disease. You can always think of a bright way. You can get less stress by preventing these things and just live happily ever after.

Conclusively, there are lots of benefits by knowing our family’s history. First, you can feel self confidence and second, you can learn the mistakes of your ancestors and make it as a steppingstone toward the succeed and lastly, you can expect what will happen to you sometimes.

I believe that knowing your family’s history is really important and we should know it.

The Ten Commandments

You must not have any other god but me',' and, You must not make for yourself an idol'. You may have heard these sayings. They are called ''the Ten Commandments'. They are sets of bible laws that are related to worshipping gods and ethics. According to the story the Exopudus, God inscribed them on two stone tablets. I will talk about three commandments, comparing and discussing the similarities between our beliefs and laws today.

One of the commandments is '' honor your father and mother'. This is very similar to some beliefs today. Teachers teach us to obey our parents and to respect them. We can see from this that people thought that when they honored their parents, they will live happy and successful life , honor. We don't respect our parents to live a happy life, but it is true that we still obey and honor our parents.

Second, there is a commandment saying 'you must not murder and you must not steal.' We have that law too. For example, If I murder somebody and steal some money, I would have to be in jail for the rest of my life. It is amazing that it is same. However, everyone agrees that We should not murder or steal.(except for some people)

Third ' you must not testify falsely against your neighbor. This means that you should not lie to other people. We don't have an actual law about this but just to be nice, most people would not like lieing probably.

In conclusion, some of the commandments are the same as the laws today. For example, honoring your parents, not stealing, not murdering, and not testifying against neighbors are similar to the laws and the common sense we have.

cosmetic surgery is harmful for people

Nowadays there are a lot of people who get surgery. There are two kinds of surgery . plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery.I can understand why people do plastic surgery but I can't understand why people do cosmetic surgery. I think that cosmetic surgery is harmful for people.

First, there is a high risk of side effects . There are more people that got side effects more than the people who had succeeded . According to some cosmetic surgery news, cosmetic surgery's side effect percentage is 80 percent. Nothing is safe. Therefore, cosmetic surgery is dangerous and harmful for people there is only 20 percent chance that the cosmetic surgery will succeed.

Second, cosmetic surgery is risk taking. As I said before, cosmetic surgery is really dangerous. Side effects are really bad and sometimes people die of side effects. When you are listening to the doctor, It looks as if it will succeed and is very safe. But in reality is not. It is a really dangerous thing to do.

But cosmetic surgery could be good too. There are some people who got cosmetic surgery and succeeded. There might be some risk but it is important to have it succeeded. Despite all the poor people who failed, there are some people who succeeded.


It is their choice choosing to do it or not. We should not stop them from picking their fate. I will not get harmed by cosmetic surgery because I will not do it, but other people who will take a risk should not be stopped.

In conclusion, I believe that people should not do cosmetic surgery. It is really dangerous and risky. But sometime it succeeds , and it is their choice , so we should not stop them .

MY DRABBLE

'Don't be nervous , you will do well'. Mr Blaney  told us before we went up the stage. ' Now here comes class 13!'. Our show has started. We went one by one , step by step up to the auditorium stage. 'One two three four!' The music has started. We had to do a jingle bell dance. It seemed like we weren't singing , but we were screaming; screaming loudly as we could to make the audience hear us singing. . Boys did a great job rapping and girls sang the main chorus. In the end we didn't get a prize, but the contest had been  a great experience.

My compare and contrast essay

The movie 'Brave ' was great! It was so great in fact , I think it was the best animation movie I have ever seen. The movie 'Brave' is a story about Merida the princess. It starts with  Merida's marrige. Merida does not want to get marry , but the Queen said she has to . So Merida and the Queen argues. One day , Merida goes to the witch's house and gets a piece of cake that will change her fate. She gives the magic cake to her mom and it made her mom change into a bear. Merida's dad tries to kill the bear. This is the summary of the movie and now i will compare and contrast the main characters and my family of the movie Brave.

Now I will compare and contrast my mom and the Queen. My mom is really kind and says I don't have to marry if I want to. But the Queen says Merida to marry. Also, my mom doesn't become angry easily but the Queen becomes angry really easily. Also , the Queen is really strict but my mom is not that strict. My mom and the Queen both loves her daughter and want the best of me and Merida.

Now I will compare and contrast my dad and the king. My dad is really smart but not that brave. But the king is not that smart but he is really brave.He is so brave that he wants to kill a bear. My dad thinks a lot and chooses what to say but, the king does not think and say or act. Like Queen, he becomes angry really fast. But my dad and the king both rule our house is responsible for the family.

                 
Now ,I will compare and contrast Angus and my dog. Angus runs faster than my dog.Also my dog is real and Angus is just an animation donkey. My dog has white fur but Angus is a little brown. My dog is cuter than Angus and Angus is braver than my dog. My dog and Angus has both four legs.

Now i will compare and contrast my little baby brother and the three brothers. My little baby brother is smaller than the three brothers and cuter than the three brothers. My little brother is younger than the three brothers and also, he is lovelier and calmer than them. My little baby brother is my baby brother and the three brothers are not my brothers. The three brothers are tweens and really naughty. My baby brother and the three brothers are precious to someone.

Now I will compare and contrast Merida and me. Merida hates marrige but I would accept marrige if there is a man who loves me and I love him too. Merida is really stubborn and has a hot temper. I also smile a lot, and I would like to listen to my mom and be a princess. I would love to rely and act how my mom wants me to , but Merida has no fear. Merida and I really  love  both our mothers.

In conclusion, I think that movie ' Brave' is a great movie . I really recomend you guys to watch it. Thank you for reading my essay.
